Youth Friendly Health Center Guidelines

The guidelines provide information about the international standards of youth friendly health services tailored according to the cultural sensitivities and needs of the youth in Balochistan. The guidelines allow for better access and utilization of services by young people. At the core of these guidelines is an understanding that health especially sexual and reproductive health and rights are basic human rights and that every young person’s need for health information and services vary based on a number of factors such as their age, gender, culture, life experiences, social economic situation, disabilities, educational background etc. The age that defines young people varies among different countries and organizations. This document considers young people as individuals between ages 10-29 years, as defined by the laws of Pakistan, thus encompassing both the adolescent and youth period. The guidelines are specifically being drafted for the Youth Friendly.
