Barriers to the Provision of and Access to Quality Healthcare for Transgender Population of Pakistan
This study is a well-documented link between experiences of discrimination and marginalization and poor physical and mental health outcomes. Populations that face widespread stigma and discrimination are more likely to report poor overall health and are more vulnerable to a variety of physical and mental health conditions. This paper aims to present the factors which contribute to the limited accessibility of transgender people to adequate and quality healthcare.
